President  IPC  Dhananjaya Shrestha  was invited to the RF CCI held a business forum “Days of the business Crimea in Moscow.”

Within the framework of the forum, the economic, agro-industrial, investment and tourism potential of the Republic of Crimea was presented.

The Crimea Peninsula is one of the largest tourist and sanatorium resort centers of Russia, a major food producer, and the main shipbuilding facilities of Russia on the Black Sea coast are located here. The peninsula Crimea dynamically develops, is provided with gas, water, electricity. The legislative base of preferential taxation is being formed.

The participants and guests of the forum were addressed by the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov.

The preliminary results of the nine months of this year show that investments in the economy of Crimea exceeded the amount of 120 billion rubles with the initial forecast for the entire 2017 in the amount of 80 billion rubles. This is how the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic began to present the economic potential of the free economic zone, the export-import potential of the region Crimea Sergey Melnikov.

The presentation of the agro-industrial potential of the peninsula was presented by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Petelin, and the prospects for the comprehensive development of the tourism industry are the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Vadim Volchenko. A member of the board of the Free Economic Society of Russia, Vladimir Gelayko, spoke about the prospects for the development of rail transport on the peninsula. Vice-President of the International Transport Academy Vitaly Zbarashenko devoted his speech to the directions and prospects for the development of maritime transport in the Crimea.

Within the framework of the forum, an agreement was signed between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Crimea on the promotion of investment and innovation activities. The document was signed by the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, RF CCI President Sergei Katyrin and head of CCI of Crimea Artem Maltsev.
