On March 6, 2018, within the framework of the Saratov Economic Forum, a panel discussion took place in which the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, the Governor Valery Radaev, the Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Mejlis of the Islamic Council Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Chairman of the Committee for Northern Economic Cooperation under the President of the Republic Korea Mr. Son Yong Gil, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation Mr. Wu Yong Gyn, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Rosselkhozbank” Dmitry Patrushev, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Maxim Fateev.
During the forum, more than 20 agreements have been signed, which will be implemented as soon as possible.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, in turn, also thanked the governor and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing the event.
The Saratov Economic Forum is support for those involved in the business, who leads the business, who sets new tasks.
By the middle of the next decade, the contribution of small and medium-sized businesses to the country’s GDP should approach 40%, and the number of employed here will grow to 25 million people.
Maxim Fateev stressed that a business event of this magnitude had been waiting for a long time in the region, and the three largest economic forums in the European part of Russia will be based in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Saratov.
The work of experts continued at the closing event of the forum – the platform “Social Entrepreneurship: Regional Experience and Prospects”.
